Not all valleys of the mountain are cold cirques and combes of unforgiving, frigid conditions. The Evercinder dells is a forest located in the lower levels of Mt. Monkhu (10,000 ft above sea level), low enough to support human life, but high enough to require heavy winter gear. But in the Evercinder forest, the birch trees of crimson red absorb the heat from all the snuffed out fires of the mountain, causing the forests’ temperature to greatly increase.

Monkhu natives often mistaken this forest for being on fire, hence the name. No one knows what kind of magic that enchants these trees, but it is forever known as a great, warm oasis to the freezing and desolate environment of Mt. Manku.
